Why Commercial, Not Domestic

Most hire competitors quietly use domestic televisions from JB Hi-Fi. Ours are commercial-grade panels rated for continuous operation, higher brightness, and flexible orientation (portrait and landscape).

For conferences and activations this matters. Commercial panels are designed to run 18+ hours a day. Domestic TVs are not, which is why cheaper competitors’ screens sometimes switch off mid-event or show burn-in by the end of a multi-day conference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you handle outdoor projection in daylight?
Outdoor projection in daylight needs either very high lumens (15,000+) or an LED wall. LED walls are usually the better answer for outdoor daytime events. We will recommend the right option based on ambient light and budget.
Do you supply content playback systems?
Yes. We provide playback laptops, switchers and scalers. You supply your final content files in standard formats (MP4, PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF).
Can we hire displays for more than one day?
Yes. Multi-day hire is pro-rata with a minimum-order threshold. Trade show and expo hires are common.
What is the difference between a projector and an LED wall?
Projectors throw an image onto a screen and work best in controlled-light environments. LED walls are self-illuminating, work in any light condition including outdoor daylight, and scale to almost any size. LED walls cost more per sqm but give you freedom on venue and lighting.
Can you do seamless multi-screen setups?
Yes. For conferences with side screens, breakouts or immersive activations we can run multiple synchronised screens off a single content source.
Do you hire 4K projectors?
Yes. 4K projectors and LED walls are available on request for high-detail content.
Can you integrate with our presenter’s laptop?
Yes. We support HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C and wireless presentation systems. We always have adapters on site for Mac, PC and the occasional vintage VGA.
Do you supply speaker prompters or teleprompters?
Yes. Confidence monitors and presidential-style teleprompters are available for speeches and plenaries.
